Garlic oil for a earache?

i've heard that garlic oil is good for a earache, i have a bottle of 100% organic garlic "perles" at home if i open them up and put that in my ear will that have the same effect?

"perles" arent hard they are equivalent to gel caps i guess its nothing but liquid garlic in them
