Or would it take much longer to not feel the full effects anymore?

I ask this because It seems like it only lasts 2 hours instead of 4 like it used too. It also could be all in my mind.

Yes, personally when i take vicodin or hydrocodone or any opiate pain killer for that matter, it seems like the first day is the most intense and is always the best day to treat my pain. Then the days after word usually just the second or third day its almost like i don't even get the same reaction. But yes you do infact get a tolerance from the first to second day even. So in all you more than likely did build a tolerance.
