How can I get rid of a cyst naturally?
I have one beside my eye, and this is my main concern, although I have about four or five others on my back. I would like to know if there is a natural way I can get rid of them, without having to go back to a surgeon. Also, what causes them? I know a lot of people in my family have them, so it is hereditary or something else, like eating habits? Thank-you!

Sebaceous cysts can also be treated at home using a warm compress and castor oil. Castor oil should not be taken internally for sebaceous cysts (it is a laxative if taken orally). Saturate a peice of natural white cotton or flannel with castor oil and apply to the surface of the cyst. Hold a hot water bag or similar heating pad on top of the castor oil compress for 1/2 hour to an hour. This can be done daily. The castor oil helps the lymphatic system to shrink the cyst. Good luck!
If the cyst becomes red or tender it may be infected and antibiotics will likely be prescribed. Garlic can help with infection and can be taken with antibiotics. Acidophilus should be taken with antibiotics or garlic to replace good bacteria in your system.
