Question:

Answers:

Hi. If using essential oils for clients you need to ensure you are insured as contraindications are high with some oils. i.e. basil is bad for epileptics, geranium is bad during the first 4 months of pregnancy etc. The lotions usually that are pre-made have such low doses of oils they pose little risk. If for yourself or friends I would recommend peppermint, although tea tree is anti fungal/viral/bacterial so a nice one to add in. Lavender also works in this way but is also an analgesic so can be soothing to tired achy feet. Get a few good books for reference by people like Julia Lawless and Worwood - so you can make informed choices. Good luck.
