Question:

Bee Pollen- Take daily or as needed? I am taking it now for allergies...?

ok, so im taking bee pollen for allergies because i hear it is a good natural antihistamine. I really dont see it working well for me, because i dont think i am taking it correctly. Should I be taking it daily on a schedule, or only as needed when my allergies act up? OR does anyone else have any other good natual remedies or herbs to take for allergies, mine are really bad!

Answers:

Bee pollen is not an antihistamine. The remedy for allergies is: at the beginning of the season buy honey made by local bees, you will probably have to go to a farmers market to get localy made honey. The theory is the local bees use the local plants which have the local pollen that you’re allergic to. By being exposed to it in the honey it should lessen the allergies from the pollen in the air. Bee Pollen bought at a large chain manufactured several states away probably will not have anything similar enough to your local area to help.
