I have Henoch-schonlein purpura (rash only, no other symptoms) what treatments or therapies could help?

I have seen the dr, so please do not tell me to see my GP and I have been to see a dermatologist at the hospital. They told me there is nothing I can do but it has been there since january, predominantly on my legs and very bad on my feet and ankles, it's really depressing me now. There doesn't seem to be any medicinal cure and I have been told that it will go on its own; but I just can't take it anymore!!

Please please please, does anyone know what I can do to make it go away?

p.s: please don't answer with information about kidney/renal damage, as I have said I only have the rash. I just want to know about the rash. And please don't just quote information about HSP from a website; because as I'm sure you can imagine, I have extensively googled it over the last few months!

Sorry if that came across as rude, but when I have posted questions in the past about this (admittedly not in this section) people have gone into great detail about kidney failure and what-not, and it hasn't effected my kidneys; just trying to save people a lot of time and effort to be honest!

This condition - as you probably know - is an auto-immune condition, that is, related to the immune system.

An experience herbalist should be able to help with immune modifying herbs and a combination of medicines to take internally together with a herbal based cream to rub into the affected area could be the answer you are looking for.

I am sure that nobody would claim to cure this for you - but using complementary and alternative approaches you can get a great deal of relief and help - but do seek advice from a practitioner experienced in dealing with such conditions.

I hope you find some relief and some helpful answers here.
