Is cephalexin ototoxic?!

Is cephalexin ototoxic?

i am taking cephalexin for and ear infection. does anyone know if this med is ototoxic and make my tinnitus worse?

cefalexin of cephalexin is not ototoxic, but such antibiotics like ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin (family of quinolones) are. Cefalexin can be used to fight certain bactaria that colonizes our throat, nose or ear. But not all bacteria here are susceptible to cephalexin.
