Im lookin into massage therapy & i was wondering if it`s a good thing to get into. I wanna know what its like.
I would like to know the amount of money they make, what all you have to learn in school, if its hard work, pretty much everything.

like any business (one that you have to "start" on your own) ... being a massage therapist, manicurist, hair stylist, ect ... it takes a couple of years to make any real money, because you have to build a clientele, even if you work out of a salon. it's a good business to get into IF you live in a city where it's needed. say for instance Miami (or other southern Fl cities), Las Vegas, So Cal, Scottsdale AZ ... but if you live in a small city or town where it's not really popular to go get massages, it may be more difficult. Unless you plan on moving to a city where you could make more money, but then you have to consider that you may be one of MANY who are trying to get a job at a good salon, too.
make sure you research it before you decide to spend the money. make sure you can make something of it. it's not impossible, but it's not as easy as "they" make it sound. they don't always place you.
