Is there a home remedy to clean out ears?
My daughter has a great amount of ear wax and we've tried over the counter debrox and even a prescription for her doctor. I was wondering if there is anything natural that would help safely?
Answers:
3.5% hydrogen peroxide is usually the best. Avoid "digging" earbuds into the ear as you might push the wax further into the ear canal and make things more difficult.
Another gentle remedy is warming up a little olive oil and putting a few drops in the ear - one ear at a time!
As ear wax is actually important in maintaining ear health, don't be overzealous in cleaning out ears.
