One of the oldest systems of angelic energy working was finally written down in the 1500s by one Rabbi Moshe Cordovero. Prior to that it was only ever transmitted from mouth to ear and then only known to a very few. Much is still only oral and, together with the philosophy of Hermes, is only now being considered ready for public awareness by the western mystical societies that have protected it for centuries.
The name of the system is becoming pretty common. People know it as Kabbalah or Qabalah and have often come across the concept at its core: The Tree of Life. There are many ‘pop’ versions and readable books about the basics. Kabbalah is where the concept of angels orginates, and many of the Biblical angels are described in detail in the Kabbalistic system. What people have not known is how to use this system to tap into some very advanced and high vibrational energies for healing. What is Ruach Healing?
Robert Zink describes Ruach healing as a sophisticated technique based on manipulation of specific energies, and transformation using Kabbalistic principles found in the Tree of Life, together with other aspects of Hermetic philosophy and symbolism. It helps the person work through their own spiritual alchemy to effect significant changes in their condition..
It is taught orally via different levels of proficiency and requires no physical contact with the patient. The three main levels are:
Level 1: Associate Ruach Healer (able to perform and to use in practice)
Level 2: Advanced Ruach Healing Practitioner (able to work at a higher level and deal with mental illness as well. Far more trained in long distance healing and the use of certain symbols, etc)
Level 3: Adept Ruach Healer (one who has gone though both of the above and advanced methods)
Level 4: Master Ruach Healer ( one who is an adept and has demonstrated advanced skills in alchemical/magical, and spiritual healing.
The two higher levels are much more advanced still and include the certification to teach the lower levels.
Robert Zink cautions: “the level of potency and power directed by the trained Adept healer is not a toy or something for experimentation.“

What is Ruach?
There are many interpretations of the Kabbalah and many commentaries on the Tree of Life. Much of the ancient mystical traditions associated with it relate to the Kabbalah as taught by Rabbi Isaac Luria (Arizal). Some of these include the concept of Ruach, which describes the spiritual force or energy that is present and flows from the highest point, or God through the tree to the lower planes.
The tree of life is a universal glyph that is used to represent the universe (macrocosmically) and the human being (microcosmically). The tree exists simultaneously on infinite spiritual planes, which are often grouped into four broad levels, which are Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah and Assiah. These describe levels of energy in manifestation from inspirational idea to concept to plan to action.
Ruach healing brings the healing energy of light through these levels in specific energy forms to bring about transformation of negative energy and illness in the human organism. Many expeeinced energy healers who learned to heal with Spiritual Healing techniques, Reiki, therapeutic touch, etc have found that because it is so specific, Ruach healing adds even more strength to their healing work.
