Where do I find the effects of how different prescription meds work against or !

Question:

Where do I find the effects of how different prescription meds work against or for each other?

Do these prescription meds have negative effects when used together: ancef, lisinopril, wellbutrin, metoprolol, remeron, prilosec, trazadone, demerol, ativan?

Answers:

When you get your prescriptions refilled, you should get a printout with general consumer information, including active ingredients, suggested maximum dosages, known side-effects, and information regarding drug interactions. If not, ask for it.

I'm seeing well-butrin and trazodone on there, where are anti-depressants, but trazodone is also known for being used to help people sleep. I'm also seeing medications for pain relief, blood pressure, antibiotics, heartburn, and anxiety. Some of these are known to have pretty severe side-effects even on their own.

Try drugs.com for very detailed information. Take notes on what to expect from each drug, and keep a diary on your/ the person your helping's vital signs (general health, blood pressure, weight, stress level, and general diet and activites) for at least a few months.

And above all, keep in close touch with your doctor and your phramasist. Make sure they both know everything you are on. Ask a lot a questions, that's what you're paying them to answer!
