It isnt suppose to but almost everything out there has that even as minor side effect. My dad for instance can't take any medication without feeling drowsy even something very simple. I work in a pharmacy and when doing consults I have to tell everyone that drowsyness and stomach irration is a possibility because they are potentials and the most common side effects.
