Why does eating chocolate sometimes cure my headache?!

Question: Why does eating chocolate sometimes cure my headache?
It is not the sugar I eat other sweets and it doesn't work. Water, sleep, ibuprofen or other man made painkillers, sulfur or chocolate cure my headaches. Does chocolate work for you or someone you know with headaches or maybe other pain? Is there science behind this that you can explain? Thanks!

Chocolate releases endorphins, a feel good chemical....THATS WHY!!!

I believe chocolate releases a chemical in the brain called endorphins which make you feel good and are a natural pain killer the same chemical is released during sex so despite the womens favourite old excuse of not having sex because she has a headache does not really stand as sex would actually be a good cure for it.
Lol I don't know about you but I'll stick to the chocolate.

Chocolate has a good amount of the mineral magnesium which helps with headaches and migraine symptoms. Chocolate also contains a chemical called phenylethylamine which can cause headaches in some people.

Probably the caffeine, which is one of the active ingredients in most migraine medications.

Chocolates triggers the release of feel good chemicals in our brains.
