Do B-12 drops really work to give you a good burst of energy?!

Question:

Do B-12 drops really work to give you a good burst of energy?

I found som b -12 drops in the store. They dissolve under your tongue and you take them 2x's a day. They are 500 mg. Do they really work? Does any B-12 pills or products work and if so, what kind and where do I find them? I need something that gives me a boost of energy and I hate energy drinks.

Answers:

No vitamin will give you a "burst" of energy. You won't get any effect at all unless you are deficient to begin with, and that is very unlikely. (Of course the vitamin sellers will try to convince you that everyone is deficient and needs extra vitamins - but they have NO data, no proof.)
If you want a "boost of energy", your best bet would be caffeine.
