Because the FDA is the pharmaceutical indsutry's watch-dog. They once protected the interest of the people, now the go to bed with Bayer, Monsanto, the dairy industry, and the drug industry at large.
They need to keep the dietary supplements' industry on hold so the drug industry will not suffer any serious setback. But people and many physicians are opening their eyes as to the actual health system's many flaws.
