Real quick question before I run out to buy this please?!?

I am battling a toothache and I know that oil of clove was one recommended remedy. My question is will regular cloves work just as well? For instance if I chewed them? I ask this because I read online that oil of clove can be dangerous if you swallow it, and I don't want to take that risk. Can I get the same relief from regular whole cloves from the grocery store as I would be able to get from the clove oil? Thank you so much!

I've never heard of this! I would call my dentist, take some tylenol, and get some Anbesol until I could get in to see the dentist!
