Question:

Need the advice of someone who knows herbs really well!!?

I was wondering if the herbal stuff and vitamin suppliments are decreasing my cervical fluid along with my chances of getting pregnant. I take TONNES of herbs and vitamins. Is there some list of things I shouldnt take so I can get pregnant along with things i SHOULD take? Please let me know if you need a detailed list of what I take.

ok here is what I take on a daily basis:

Primrose Oil
Vitamins C, BComplex
Calcium
Iron
Seratatia Peptise (for scar tissue)
Maca Root
Prenatal Vitamins
Flaxseed Oil
Cranberry Extract
Zinc
Folic Acid

I think that is it.

Answers:

I am a great believer in nutritional supplements including vitamins, minerals and herbs. I didn't see anything that raised any red flags. So I did some net research. To my surprise some of the pro-medicine sites have some positive comments about the use of some herbs pre-, during and post-pregnancy. If you want to educate yourself more visit the links below. I am not recommending any of then but believe that people should make their own educated choices for as much available information as possible.
The only good information I found on the issue of cervical fluid is contained in http://www.friendsandfamilies.com/ttc/ch... for charting ovulation.
Have fun reading, good luck with the pregnancy, and here's wishing you a very happy baby.

PS: I think it's commendable that you are trying to give your body the best possible combinations to facilitate the conception and birth of a healthy child.
