Question:

Who esle finds it funny that the last thing the FDA looks at before it appoves a supplement is "does it help?"

Who else finds it funny that the last thing the FDA looks at when deciding whether something is to approved or not is “does it help people?” or “does it work”. I mean they would much rather approve of drug “A” that they know will have more side-effects that what it actually cures just so they can come up with something new, drug “B” to cure the side-affects of drug “A”.
It’s sad how everything is really just a business, even the health of humans. It’s like we’re all just brainwashed to get something because the FDA approved it. The first things the FDA or Government looks at, is what kind of money can be made from this new product. Then there is a whole list of Politics behind it. Look for example, the Soda Coca-Cola, there is a huge list of reports that prove it is no good, and provides just about nothing for our bodies. Yet the FDA and Government would let something like this be sold ALL over the US because money is being made from it.

Then when people complain about how harmful it is, suddenly “researchers” state there is not evidence of this, so lawsuits won’t even hold in court. The Government and FDA are pretty much protecting these companies. Or better yet diet Coca-Cola; this drink contains aspartame as a sweetener. Aspartame is found in other places (you wouldn’t even want to know where); Aspartame is band in other parts of the world but yet it is ok by the FDA over here. IT’s not that they don’t know that it is bad, they’re just waiting to make as much money as possible on aspartame (and everything else out there), then when enough people get sick and possibly die, then they’ll say “ok, ok, we’ll take it off the market

Finally when natural or herbal supplements come out, all of a sudden research pops up every where saying “don’t take it don’t take”. Before this advanced science what did humans live off of in the first place. Look at other cultures and civiliations for example, Asia, India, etc. they all have what will seem to us living in the U.S. as “prehistoric” medicine…but look who do you hear about has the long life-spans. Something to get your brain moving…if the processed Milk they advertise to us today is so high in Calcium and America has the highest intake of dairy products in the world, then why do we have the highest percentage of osteoperosis. I thought the milk I drink gives me Calcium, or well that’s at least what they tell us. I’m sure all of you have some kind of

knowledge about what’s really going on with the health in this country, but I’d just like to address a few more points. Did you know there is more than one type of calcium; in fact there are five, Carbonate, Lactate, Phosphate, Sulfate, and Citrate. Vitamin D helps aid the body to absorb Calcium. Now when you go to your local GNC for example and you check the Nutrition Label most of the time you only find one type of Calcium with out any Vitimin D. So in other words you’re wasting your money, and on top of that you’re not getting any real Calcium from your Milk! I’ve Found only one FDA approved Calcium Supplement with all five and with Vitimin D. When I found out it was FDA approved I almost got a heart attack! That might be the first step in the right direction for health in this country.

I just used Calcium as an example because it went with my example of Coca-Cola, if you didn’t know Coca-Cola draws calcium from your body starting with your teeth. That’s the main reason coaches tell their athletes not to drink soda, what good is a Football player if his bones will break the first game? There are multiple examples and facts out there…

The Calcium Supplement I use is found at www.myunf.com

I think it's funny that you would believe that.
What a load of nonsense.

The FDA does not "approve supplements".
Not at all.
That's why they all say "not evaluated by the FDA" on the label.
