Ok, i'm looking to do a massage course in Adelaide, South Australia but it's quite expensive, like over $8,000 but i also want to know if there is a demand for massage therapist?? like i don't wanna spend all this money then find out i can't get any work.

I have noticed in Adelaide that the massage therapists I know have no trouble getting bookings. Some of them are still students, but after just a month or so in practice seem to be booked out. There are many places to practice, including private practice. You can start off at home or doing house calls. You need very little in the way of equipment to set up - a table, some cot sheets and lots of towels, plus some oil.
As JP said, there are lots of places you can practice from, including beauty salons, alternative health centres, hotels, gyms.
Even if you don't end up making a living from massage, your family and friends will love you doing the course - you need to practice on people!
