Are there any kind of herbs or other ways of curing blackfan diamond anemia?!

Question:

Are there any kind of herbs or other ways of curing blackfan diamond anemia?

I have a son that has blackfan diamond anemia and I was just wanting to know if I am doing everything humanly possible to help with curing him other that a bone marrow transplant.

Answers:

As Blackfan Diamond anaemia is a congenital disease, it is unlikely that it can be cured, however there may be ways of managing the disease. Some herbs may help with the management, but it is best to use these in conjunction with orthodox treatment.

Herbs that should be considered are Nettle and Withania. Both help with anaemias in general, and with red blood cell production. Stinging nettle can be used as a food - like spinach. It can also be juiced, and added to other juices. Cooking the nettle inactivates the sting.

If you have a herbalist in your area, thay should be able to make you up a mix of nettle and withania for your son to take.

Herbs may help reduce the amount of orthodox treatment necessary, but will not actually produce a cure.

One of the best possible management techniques would be to find a good herbalist in your area, and have them regularly see your son so that they can help manage his condition, and resolve problems as they arise. Choose a herbalist that is happy to work with you and your son's doctor for best results.

I hope this helps, and wish you success in your search.
