Is it bad to fall asleep during hypnosis?!

Question: Is it bad to fall asleep during hypnosis?
I have a hypnosis recording that I try to use on a daily basis, but I frequently fall asleep during it.
It's advised to listen to it right before I go to bed, but I always fall asleep partway through it if i do that.
I've heard that hypnosis works best when you're awake, but one hypnotist said it was fine to sleep, te body can do whatever it feels like doing.
What do you think?

Answers:

I think it works best when you are awake. Hypnotists give you instructions. You are asked to do things so you should be mentally alert. It is easy to fall asleep doing it before bed. I have done both meditation and hypnosis. Try sitting on the floor and do not lean against anything. If you still fall asleep try sitting in a slightly less comfortable position or while standing up.

If you are tired in the morning and need an alarm clock to wake up you might need more sleep.

Most people enter a somnolent state when under hypnosis so I suggest you run to the end of the tape and check out whether there is a wake up cue in it so you come out of the hypnosis and go into regular sleep for the rest of the night. It could be dangerous otherwise.

Those hypnosis recordings are just a big scam. They don't work!
They are only designed to line the pockets of the authors.
Save your money to see a real therapist.
