Yes, it's a form of bio-electric medicine.
Royal R. Rife a Californian Scientist credited with re-inventing the microscope invented the Rife machine that supposedly healed 18 people of cancer.
There's a book from 1986, " The Cancer Cure That Worked, by Barry Lynes.
As I recall though several of the patients committed suicide after being cured. (Not a great side-effect if you ask me.)
There are other forms of bio electric treatments as well, Hulda Clarke and her "Zapper ' and Bob Beck's 'black box'.
Of the three Beck's has the best documentation so i tried it a few years back with favorable results.
