Cough Syrup or Pills?!

Question: Cough Syrup or Pills?
I have a very important job interview today and of course I manage to get sick for it. I am just wondering if I should take syrup or pills or which would work better? The pills and syrup are meant for the same things I was just not sure if one would be better for this specific situation. I can't stop coughing so I definitely need to take something, especially because it's in an environment working with food. thanks. any advice appreciated!

Answers:

Syrup is longer lasting and has a more immediate effect. Delsym and Dayquil work extremely well in this area and do not make you drowzy. Good luck at your job interview!

Syrup would be a more immediate reaction but taste absolutely terrible and tend to not last as long as pills. I know nyquil pills are time release, and the syrup is not. It just depends how long you think your going to be in there. Dayquil will obviously be a smarter choice unless you want to look tired.

Dont take too much! I personally enjoy DXM trips but unless you want to look effed up and not be able to concentrate on anything then dont take too much. DXM is the main ingredient in all cough syrups and is used recreationally quite a lot actually. 1 dose over regular dosage and youll be okay. Take another dose it will be extremely mild, its not really untill you hit about 250 mg you really gotta worry about tripping, but im pretty sure thats too much to accidentally ingest haha

Lots of syrup and pill use in cough suppresants

Cough syrup is quicker, and spray some Chloraseptic to numb your throat as well.

Syrup, Buckley's tastes bad but it works.
