Can Reiki help an animal to breathe?
My kitten has breathing problems. Vet said it had underdeveloped lungs and we cudnt do anything about it?
Answers:
Reiki is the universal life force. For humans, like all forms of healing (even traditional medicine), you need to be open to Reiki to benefit from its healing action. However, animals have no disposition or bias towards healing, so I don't see why it wouldn't work, even though I've never personally used it, or seen it used, on any.
Perhaps you'd also like to see the Michael Bradford video "Hands-on Spiritual Healing" or read his book. A few years ago my partner at work had a cat with a similar respiratory problem and she asked him to come and help her with it. (He doesn't call his healing 'Reiki', but 'Spiritual Healing'; however, I think that as the sun would be the same whatever name we gave it, so is energy healing the same). In any case, Mr Bradford did go to my partner's house and offered the cat a healing session; within a day she got well again and lived well from then on.
So, do whatever feels right for you and I hope your cat gets better soon.
