It hurts to push anything out, let alone put anything in. ( Get your sick mind out of the gutter) I have a dr.'s appt on thursday, but right now i am in pain. Help...

well see that's the thing. My poop is soft and runny, and i have used all the over the counter things and non of them seem to work.

First of all, Tuck's pads are a rip-off, cause all they are is witch hazel and additives. Homemade witch hazel pads or cotton balls soaked in it are WAY cheaper ;0). Second, a sitz bath will do wonders...how you ask? Well, put a couple of inches of the hottest water you can stand in the bath tub and sit in it until it cools off...this will shrink the hemmorhoids, and it feels good! Preparation-H, or Anusol (what doctors reccomend over the counter) would probably work well, too, either in suppository form or tube form. Adding fiber to your diet to keep things flowing more freely will prevent more problems in the future. You could add stool softners, but the fiber (either supplements like Benefiber, or food like prunes) will have the added benefit of reducing your risk of colon cancer. Good luck!!
