Is there a natural or everyday product remedy for lice?

My neighbors kids have had lice it seems since last year.They have had so many chemicals put on there head Im afraid they will end up woth cancer one day.
I feel so sorry for thema nd there poor mother.

Well I know one thing that helped me out back when my daughter was coming home with head lice all the time after visiting her dad.

I put baby oil in her hair really heavy and left it for about 15 minutes. This kills the lice and also breaks up the "glue" that holds the nits to the hair. You can leave the oil in as long as you want to but no less than 15 minutes.

Then I shampooed her hair very good to get the oil out of her hair and then conditioned it.

Then after it is dry the lice and nits will comb out very easy.

During the time that the oil is in the hair "soaking" clean the house very good, stripping the beds, cleaning the sofa. I mean give the house a good cleaning. Make sure that clothes are clean as well.

Remind the kid not to share combs and hair brushes with brothers and sisters or any body for that part.

I had tried Nix and all that other stuff out there on my daughter and this worked the best for me. And another thing, the girls don't have to cut their hair off to do this either.
