Chiropractic care?
Is chiropractic care really "real" and does it work? I just seen one for knee pain and headaches. I got my neck cracked and my knee cracked and was out the door? Doesn't seem like it will work? They also want me back 2-3 times per week for the first 12 visits. Does this sound right?

When I twisted my sacriliac joint 2 yrs ago, I couldn't even stand up straight, with the first visit to the chiropractor I was out of pain, But it has taken over a year to get it totally back to normal.
Since we had a lot of time together, I asked him the same thing..Why so many visits? What exactly are you doing?
Well, they work with the joints to get them in the ideal position, the trick is, once we have damaged them or the muscles have gotten used to a wrong position, the muscle continues to want to go back to that wrong position. In my case I had been having an alignment problem in my hips for a long time, without knowing and the end result was it finally pulled my back out of alignment.
But that's the reason for all the visits, the muscles have to be trained slowly to go back to the correct position.
