Question:
NEED HELP PLZ!!!!!!Can a patient receive what he/she needs by going to one location or one provider?
We often hear about the American health care system. A system is supposed to be a well-designed, cost-efficient process that operates in unison to accomplish a purpose. In the instance of a health care system, the patient should be able to receive the full range of possible health care services in a seamless fashion. Discuss why this statement is true or not. Can a patient receive what he/she needs by going to one location or one provider?
Answers:
No. It would be impossible to train a doctor in every possible specialty. The reason the system is not fluidis simple: they aren't enough doctors/beds/staff to meet the current need. That will balance more over time but right now, there's nothing you can really do except have good insurance and be your own health care advocate. If you need something or something isn't right, let your doctor know, he's not a mind reader.
