What you get for your money is the same thing I find packed with sensitive electronic devices and is known as dessicant which prevents moisture damage to these components during shipping. Each one of those little packages is clearly marked "Do not eat" so it's not something you want on your body. The sweat band in your favorite fishing or hunting cap becomes equally discolored with use and perspiration is one of nature's clever ways of removing waste from the body. Unless your doctor has prescribed kidney dialysis or an anti-biotic or you found an empty carton of rat poison by your dinner plate, I wouldn't worry about television and magazine presentations of "toxins" in the bloodstream.
