What is the difference between Vitamin E and Vitamin E Complex?!

Question: What is the difference between Vitamin E and Vitamin E Complex?
Is it complexcated? Yeah, a joke. So, is there any real difference, going to buy one but not sure which? Thanks.

Answers:

Vitamin E is: "a family of eight antioxidants: four tocopherols (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-) and four tocotrienols (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-)."

When you buy vitamin E by itself it is usually just d alpha tocopherol. It is the most active form and found in most of our body's tissues. The others play a role in the body as well (especially gamma tocopherol), but d alpha tocopherol is the one that has been subject to all the studies on vitamin E.

Vitamin E complex is usually all 4 of the tocopherols together with the highest amount being alpha. In my opinion, it is better to get a vitamin E complex rather than just alpha tocopherol. The benefits of the other tocopherols are just now being studied and understood. The tocotrienols are a different topic and have other benefits as well, but simply buying a good vitamin E complex (400 iu+) is a good start.

Vitamin E (Vitamin E) is a fat-soluble vitamin, also known as tocopherol, is one of the most important antioxidants. Fat-soluble and organic solvents such as ethanol, insoluble in water, heat, acid stable, alkali stable, oxygen-sensitive, not sensitive to heat, but the frying of vitamin E activity decreased significantly. Tocopherol can promote the secretion of sex hormones, so that sperm motility and increased number of men; to increase women's estrogen levels, improve fertility, prevent miscarriage, but also for the prevention and treatment of male infertility, burns, frostbite, capillary bleeding, menopausal syndrome, beauty and so on.
Recently also found that vitamin E can inhibit the lens of the eye within the lipid peroxidation reaction, so that peripheral blood vessels expand, improving blood circulation, prevent the occurrence and development of myopia.
