moranda citrifolia or noni grows in the pacific islands. It is essentially a tonic and laxative. It has lots of vitamins and contains alkaloids that may benefit the liver in small amounts. Medically it has not been shown to have any serious benefit. It is a folk medicine which may speed healing and act as a de-tox. you would probably get similar benefits from cranberry juice
