Fish oil supplements for arthritis?!

Question:

Fish oil supplements for arthritis?

My aunt suffers from arthritis both rheumatoid and psoriatic. She read a small study that fish oil may help arthritis, and she asked me to help her find info on the internet to see if this is true. I'd appreciate any info anyone has on this. Thank you!

Answers:

I have been using Natrol Omega 3 Purified Fish Oil, for some time, it is good for the heart, and I have Osteoarthritis as well, it is good for arthritis, and alleviates some pain. I have had a hip replacement done. It did not heal the arthritis, neither did the Glocosamine Condrointin, which makes claims or all kinds. It will not hurt to take fish oil, and your Aunt should follow Doctors recommendations for her condition. They know of the latest medical advances for her condition. Best wishes.
