Question:

I'm a massage therapist and I'm starting to have pains in the joints, what do you recom for joints protection?

Answers:

Wellllllll...I'm not sure which joints are bothering you. If they are you fingers hands or thumbs...it's part of the downside of the job... You can buy thumb savers at massagewarehouse.com .....um i run my hands under ICE cold water after every massage to keep the viscosity of the synovial fluid increased. My fingers hutr all the time. If it's your knees ....etc You need to develop better body mechanics...make sure your table is high enough for you so your not bending down so much, also use lunging motions to protect the knee and back joints. If you don't you risk hyper extending the joints. Try glucosamine, there this stuff called "Acai Juice" You should check it out.
