Is being a Chiropractor a good career and is Palmer Florida a good school?!

Question:

Is being a Chiropractor a good career and is Palmer Florida a good school?

I would like to hear from a chiropractor or even a current student. I have been exposed to Chiropractors all my life and have had great results from it. I would like to have a career that would be beneficial to as many people as possible.

I am older (38) and probably would not be able to get into medical or physician assistant school.

Answers:

Chiropractic is a great profession! I've been practicing for about 6 years now and I love every minute of it. You will see results and improvements in people that other professions couldn't help worth a lick. For example, just the other day a young 8 year old girl finally stopped wetting her bed after just two adjustments. It wasn't the adjustement or chiropractic that healed her, it was her own body's ability to heal properly through the nerve system that allowed her to function normally. There are so many other examples. The basic idea is that the body can heal itself as long as there is proper communication between the brain and the body. As a chiropractor, you just allow that process to occur to it's fullest potential.
Palmer Florida is a new school. I haven't heard too much of it yet. I agree with the comment above in that Palmer in Iowa is a great school. Also Palmer West in CA, and Sherman College of Chiropratic is a great choice.

Good luck. You will help change lives and allow people to get their lives back!
