Have you heard of a treatment to restore smell from a person with a Concussion?
Someone I know had a concussion about 3 years ago and because of that loss her sense of smell. I was wondering if you have heard of any Alternative treatments that would be useful.
Answers:
Most alternative treatments honestly depend on the placebo effect. If your friend's problem is psychosomatic then hypnotism or even acupuncture might work. If your friend's problem is caused by a physical problem then these methods will not help any more than waving a wand over a broken arm to set it.
If he cannot smell then he generally will have no sense of taste either.
