Lowering the levels of LDL ("bad") cholesterol or of triglyceride in the blood of certain patients. It may be used in combination with diet or other medicines. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Niacin is a B vitamin. It works by decreasing the amount of a certain protein that is necessary for the formation of cholesterol in the body.

It can also be used to detox the body my friend who was in the army would take up to 20 pills at a time to pass a drug test the next day but i do not suggest doing this
