Cranberry juice vs. Cranberry cocktail?!
Question:
Cranberry juice vs. Cranberry cocktail?
What is the difference?
Answers:
a cranberry cocktail (as with any drink that says 'cocktail' on the labelling) is not made with 100% juice. i'm surprised nobody in the past 6 answers has brought up this point! cranberry cocktails usually have between 20 and 30% juice in them with the rest of the bulk from water and high fructose corn syrups.
if you want a REAL cranberry juice don't bother with ocean spray. get yourself to a natural food store and buy the brand Knudsen. they make a juice called "Just Cranberry" and it's fabulous. very cleansing, VERY sour, and not at all a "guzzle a tall glass" sort of drink. it's like eating a mouthful of straight cranberries! if you have a UTI it will clear you out in no time :)
as with all juices, make sure your cranberry juice is 100% juice. the package saying "100% vitamin C" does NOT count. it always should be 100% juice.
the link to the juice i mentioned is below.
