In the medical field what does DON stand for and ADON?

I am looking into the nursing field and came upon these. Thanks.


Answers:

DON - Director of Nursing

ADON - Assistant Director of Nursing

These positions are usually in management, not working directly with patients. You also will not get these positions straight out of school, they are normally hired by experience. I hope this helps you.
