If this is a new prescription, then take it the way it was prescribed. If this is old antibiotics you had laying around the medicine cabinent, do yourself a favor and flush them down the toilet-not yourself. If you have an infection, it may or may not respond to PCN. The PCN may not even still be effective. In either case, you will make matters worse than they are. If you are sick enough to think you need antibiotics, go see the doctor and get something made to treat your particular illness, in a dosage that will work, using fresh medications that will work. Don't play with your medicines, it's dangerous.
