Can I use Fish Mox instead of prescription Amoxicillin?!

Question:

Can I use Fish Mox instead of prescription Amoxicillin?

Are there any real differences between Fish Mox and Amoxicillin?

The ingredients list nothing other than Amoxicillin. Couldn't I be saving lots of money by taking Fish Mox instead? Is there any good reason not to?

Answers:

It's forumlated for animals, and doesn't adhere to FDA regulations for human consumption. So it's not recommended.

Although...a fish is a living organism...and while I can't recommend that you take it because that would be unethical...I can say that you wouldn't necessarily come to harm because of it.

Just make sure you definitly have a bacterial infection, otherwise you're just wasting your time.
