Im getting over a cold but still have a bad cough. Robotussin aint working. Any home remedies?
I have almost OD'd on Nyquil these past few days, and now that I'm actually starting to feel better-I had to go get a bottle of Robotussin. This cough must be the last stage of my cold, because it just started last night. I have almost downed the whole bottle and still, no luck.
Home remedies, anyone?

Okay-the honey only worked for like, 5 minutes. I tried some Vanilla Chai Tea with some honey and milk-the effects from that lasted about an hour. Thanks you guys-some great answers! I think I like the sound of the hot tang drink. I don't think I'm in danger of having bronchitis. The cough just started last night, folks.
Answers:
Try hot Tang drink mix. Add some lemon juice and 2 honey flavored cough drops. If that doesn't work try this Russian Tea mix. Its all natural:
1 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup instant black tea
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup Tang soft drink mix
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 pkg. (2qt) lemonade mix
Combine ingredients. Mix well. Store in airtight container. Shake well before using. Add 3-4tsp per cup of hot water. Drink 4-6 cups per day, as needed. That should do the trick! Good Luck! FYI the Tang has tons of Vitamin C
