Does taking 20mg a day of aciphex stop food absorption?!

Question:

Does taking 20mg a day of aciphex stop food absorption?

I have been taking 20 mg of aciphex a day for 2 1/2 years now and I am starting to have some problems with my energy levels, I now have cronic fatigue syndrome and have no energy to do anything anymore could it be caused from my lack of stomach acid to digest food and convert to energy?

AcipHex blocks acid production in the stomach. (esophagus). to help with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), is caused by the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus over a prolonged period of time. Because GERD can be chronic, your doctor may continue to prescribe AcipHex to prevent a relapse after your initial course of treatment and to relieve symptoms of GERD such as heartburn.

The drug is classified as a "proton pump inhibitor." It works by blocking a specific enzyme essential to the production of stomach acid. It begins reducing acid within an hour of administration. It doesn't block the absorption of food. Having chronic fatique syndrome is a whole different issue in itself and that is what is more likely causing the low energy level.
Either way these are things that you should be discussing with your doctor.
