Chantix/Nicotine withdraw ??!

Question:

Chantix/Nicotine withdraw ??

Quit smoking on day 8 of chantix, quit taking the med on day 14 because I constantly felt drunk/ stoned! On day 11 of no smoking :) and day 4 without chantix and suddenly going thru crazy nicotine withdraws, dizzy, light headed, etc...how can this be on day 11 not smoking ??? I'm not craving a smoke, I'm just light headed, unfocused, etc...anyone else experience this once they stopped taking the chantix ? It's like a delayed withdraw !!! Thought the nicotine left your body in 5 days !?!?!

Answers:

I just stopped taking chantix 2 weeks after I quit smoking and I did not get any side effects. I would just deal with them for a couple of days and see if it stops. I think chantix takes a couple of days to get out of your system so that might be it. Its better than smoking isn't it.
