Question:

Is Pot harmfull to your health?

Answers:

Anything in excess is harmful to your health - even water.

Marijuana has had a long history of medicinal use and is still used today for AIDS related illnesses, glaucoma, cancer treatment side effects and depression. William Randolph Hearst and the American government, because it impeded on the production of tree based paper for the Hearst Newspaper, were instrumental in criminalizing the drug for monetary reasons.

It is not addictive as someone pointed out earlier, but has the potential to be abused, but so does everything else.

To date, there has been no documented cases of marijuana overdoses and no documented cases of people having physical withdrawals from using the cannabis plant.

It was widely used in the early days of America and Indians smoked it in their peace pipes.

While they died from other ailments, marijuana has not been documented to be the causative agent in any of their demises.

Cigarettes are more harmful, more addictive than marijuana and people smoke cigarettes more often and more frequently than some may smoke marijuana.

While smoking anything may be hazardous to the lungs, only cigarettes have been linked to lung cancer.
