Prescription drug question?!

Question:

Prescription drug question?

What is the folowing medication used for or used to treat:
Grifulvin V/Gris- PEG

I saw the doctor and got this medication for white stuff on my head (possibly dandruff). I didn't get to ask him clearly what Grifulvin was for. So anybody know what it's for?

Answers:

Ringworm. Even its name sounds dreadful, not to mention the itching, swelling and redness. But ringworm's not a worm. It's actually caused by fungi. Whether you're dealing with a child who's caught tinea capitis (ringworm of the scalp) or has a persistent case of athlete's foot, GRIFULVIN V can help. Its most common side effects are of the hypersensitivity type, such as skin rashes and hives. Click on the statement above that best describes where you are in the fight against fungi.
