Is there any other medication better than Prevasid?
had been taking twice a day for a week and the gastric pain is still attacking me. usually middle of the night or after food. it's so painful than i'll vomit. pls help. tried controloc as well last time but no good. what is better than prevasid??

Taking medication to prevent your gastric pain is not the only solution, you have to control your diet too. In the past, I used to take Prevasid too but, it does not work for me. I controlled my intake on certain food; like; banana, chicken (now I can take), high lactose milk, rice cooked with alot of spices. You maybe allergic to certain food, so check it out yourself, whenever you feel the pain, asked yourself what have I taken just now?
If the pain persists, best to go for a gastroscopy, there might be a very bad ulcer in your stomach.
If you can drink milk powder, take it, it will make you feel better too.
