Will tea tree oil help get rid of a lump on my ear?
I just got an industrial piercing and there is a lump on the inside of the top hole. A friend told me to use tea tree oil to get rid of it. What is tea tree oil, and would it work?

Tea tree oil or Vitamin E Oil are the most common remedies for getting rid of scar tissue.
You have to massage the oil into the tissue for a few minutes a day at the least. The oil helps to break down the scar tissue which is causing the area to be hard.
Personally, I have tried this, and I haven't had much luck. I'm not very persistant though and I didn't do it every day.
This also works for stretch marks and any scar tissue at all - says so on the bottle! You can get the vitamin E oil in small capsules (pop it and squeeze the oil onto your finger) or in a bottle.
