Is it true that people in the medical profession, ie GPs don't endorse homeopath!
Question:
Is it true that people in the medical profession, ie GPs don't endorse homeopathic remedies?
Speaking generally here, of course, but this is what I have always heard. Our GP does not endorse any homeopathic treatments but wondered if this is a trend.
Answers:
The enlightened ones do. The dinosaurs don't! This isn't any sort of ageist statement. When I left working in the NHS as a senior nurse to concentrate on my homoeopathic practice, it was generally the older consultants who were all for homoeopathy - as they had seen the short comings of their profession in the realms of treating some illnesses. Now, I treat quite a number of consultants, hospital doctors & GPs who are all completely impressed with how homoeopathy works for them. Presumably, they have read the research for what it is worth - but they are open minded enough to use something without side effects that might just make a difference to their illnesses. I generally found the younger, less experienced doctors still thought that the light eternal shone out of conventional medicine & no where else. Given enough time, some of them no doubt will be unblinkered enough to try something else. I fail to understand those who deny they powers of homoeopathy (which are extremely effective WHEN CORRECTLY PRESCRIBED & ADMINISTERED) and to this end there are a number of NHS Homoeopathic hospitals in the country doing marvellous work. I think there is a mix of ignorance & fear when this practice is slandered. I would ask these people to attend one of my clinics & meet my patients whos lives have been transformed by this therapy.
