Is soda good for a cold?
is soda good for you if you have a runny nose, stuffy nose, and ossibly a future sore throat. like symptoms of a cold. what could cure a stuffy nose or is soda good for it?

NO NO AND NO.. Soda is only good for adding a tremendous amount of sugar to your diet.
1/3 of a cup (5 tablespoons per can). And we wonder why we are fat.
Drink clear liquids. Hot tea or hot chicken broth will thin the mucus and allow it to blow out.
Use Vicks Vaporub in the edge of your nose overnight while you sleep and it will be mostly gone in the morning. Do it at night till it is totally gone. The menthol will liquefy the mucus and cause it to run.
