What is the best treatment, nonprescription to handle IBS?!

Question:

What is the best treatment, nonprescription to handle IBS?

I am looking for something to help with IBS that you may be able to order over the internet.

Answers:

the only way to control ibs is diet.
ibs is not cureable, so don't bother with wasting body effort or your wallet with pills or meds.

all you can do, is eat what you can digest.
cut out all heavy, strong-flavoured or spicey foods.
eat mainly raw vegies and fruit and small amounts of meat and carbs.

if your ibs is real nasty, go on JUST raw salads and vegies and fruits for a week, then slowly add the meat and carbs.

best of luck man, i know it's nasty as I've got it too.
If i get worked up, it plays up, so i have to keep a tab on my moods as well.
my doc suggested meds and anti-depressants (i'm not depressed). so i went to a naturopath and they said try the diet.
i went on the diet in 2001 and am still in control of my ibs.

xx
